I am looking for an apartment online and i see the “railroad-type layout apartment” description… what exactly is that?

Boy, I have not seen a railroad type apartment since I was a
kid…..It must be an old building, with two door entries such as
one in the kitchen and one in the living room…..
the other rooms run right into each other just like a railroad car
or picture a train…..one car goes into the next……They were
very popular back at the start of the century and lasted till
the 1940s. some old buildings still have them….they are way
nice…..
