I see so many books on the Underground Railroad that have purple as its cover. Is there a reason or most people just seem to prefer purple for this topic? If there is, any online sources?

The Underground Railroad used different colors in quilts to send messages but I cannot find information specifically about purple. I know that purple can represent suffering and pain.
