I train in Judo. What striking art would be better to add to it: Shotokan or Muay Thai? I have been told Shotokan for the distance, sweeps and strikes which would allow myself to be able to handle long, mid and short distance and Muay Thai for its clinch which would add to the Judo clinch. HELP! i cannot decide!

do a bit of both.
if you are a senior belt in judo you should be able to integrate stuff into your arsenal.
DO BOTH THEY ARE BOTH GREAT i took them both and they are excellent
shotokan for at lweast a year then cross train in muay thai.
Pure boxing
shotokan
Shotokan is more rounded
Muay Thai does have a grappling aspect to it that will come in handy with judo.
But, why not take a few lessons of both and see for yourself which it the best fit.
Most schools will offer a free first week so try both and then decide.
Just keep it a secret that you are trying to decide between the two styles…
Neither. I’d go for Wing Chun…you’ll learn a lot more including trapping skills, parring, kicking, Chi manipulation, close quarter fighting.
neither are intrinsically better that the other. the better instructor and the better will to learn will make you a better fighter.
