  1. @dogrichmancat
What kind of track do you have?

    (PMs)

  2. Yeah i am considering putting marker lights in my SW1500

  3. Yes, the blue Conrail unit is included. That’s part of the reason why it’s on the cover and shown in the trailer.

  4. Hey man, I really like the conrail with the marker lights, is that included in the video?

  5. From co-producer Dan Cortopassi:

It’s hard to recommend a book since I haven’t read any on DCC. Probably the best bet is Kalmbach. They have one called the “The DCC Guide” that looks promising. They also have one called “DCC Made Easy” but it’s a few years old and may be dated now.

There are also email groups on Yahoo for DCC and also specific brands, like Digitrax. The trouble is, sometimes the advice you get is good, sometimes not.

  6. somone plz help me i am clueless with dcc. i currently have a dc layout and i want to convert to dcc. i dont know how or what to do.

  7. Cool, I’ll be picking that up shortly as I’m getting ready to convert all my models to DCC.

  8. Most of the same principles can be applied regardless of scale. However, we will be producing a similar N scale video in the future. Stay tuned!

  9. i would be happy if they did an n scale version of this. it would make my life easier

  10. Not a problem,

  11. I had to make minor adjustments to the narration. I will not be uploading it again.

  12. Looks cool! Why do you keep re-uploading this?

  13. Thanks for that , it`s an old one , my first dcc sound.

  14. another great video

  15. Thanks, you can tell what farther Xmas bought me.

  16. I like the night shots.

  17. Thanks for the comment , it`s approx 26ft.x8ft
but I do tend to keep changing it as you an see by my latest vids.

  18. great layout mate, can you please tell me the size please, thanks,Paul

  19. Yes I know I have a problem with the shakes …could be old age? but I don`t have a camcorder , mine is just a samsong s1050 camera which also does videos, but soon as I can afford I shall invest in a new camcorder ..and of course H D

  20. I don’t beleive any of my camcorders had the ability to gather enough light to allow the night shots you made. My scond VHS camcorder had to have lights on it in order to get good shots. Would you beleive 400 watts. The overhead light s were floods that I was planning on motroizing to go down and blue light s would come up. Too costly as I ended up with many floods that ended up over heating the area.

  21. I don’t claim to be any kind of expert but it did seem like you have a problem with your camcorder. I thought I heard a click before you lost the focus. I never had a problem with any of my camcorders, lucky I guess. I wish you’d use a tripod and get in closer so we can really enjoy each of your small dioramas. It’s really a swell layout, now I’d like to see close ups of the many scenes that you’ve done. All of my camcorders have the ability to get in real close,I’m assuming yours does to.

  22. look forward to seeing your video¬s made with the new camcorder, have you seen my video model railway update, that seems to go out of focus after about 10 seconds

  23. I just purchased my seventh camcorder—HD of course. Waiting for software to arrive and hopfully I can figure out how to post some of my more latest changes to the layout.

  24. Thank you but I have seen a lot better think I shall have to buy a camcorder.

  25. great camera work!

  26. yes you can alter it , I bought 2 sets then had to shorten 1 footbridge join together 2 get my width accross 4 tracks, reasonably easy!!

  27. Like the layout. I noticed you had the Metcalfe footbridge on the station. Was it easy to adapt for the width of the platform? I was thinking of getting that particular footbridge for my station.

  28. you will enjoy it after your initial problems, next you will want dcc sound.thanks for the comment.

  29. nice just started with dcc

  30. yes its the bachman Bo Bo class 24 I think about £130

  31. Great video. Is that the Bachmann ready to run dcc sound loco? Posted one of my layout in response

  32. thank you for your comment, yes too many pullmans , i now want some blue and grey`s, would go with the class 24

  33. Nice layout. you have a lot of pullmans

  34. Any time.Cheers.

  35. thanks yes it sounds good, it is going to make the none sound locos redundent, just started ripping half my track up and re modeling it, (its the best bit) I like altering things. thanks for your comment

  36. I wished I’d bought that one when I had chance.Great stuff & cracking layout.5* Cheers.

  37. yes i started just over 12 months ago, and plunged straight in with dcc , cursed a bit at first, till I got used to it, but now I am glad i did`nt go analogue. …cheers.
